Gas Fires

Gas Fire

With a range of modern, stylish gas fires available offering clean, economical and environmentally friendly heat, it is hardly surprising that gas fires provide convenience for thousands of households throughout the UK & Ireland.

Gas fires can provide a real flame effect without the hassle of bringing in coal and cleaning out ashes, and with a range of alternatives to choose from they can act as a purely decorative focal point for the living room or a cosy source of additional heat.

Gas fires can fit into the following categories:

  • Decorative Gas Fires – allow your home to benefit from the authentic imitation of a coal fire, without the inconvenience and mess associated with coal. Fitting into a conventional fireplace, these appliances are largely for decorative purposes, with low efficiency as heat is lost up the chimney.
  • Inset Real Flame Gas Fires – these look like a solid fuel fire, are open fronted and sit in the fireplace. With an authentic flame appearance, these fires produce radiant or radiant and convected heat. They are more efficient than a Decorative Gas Fire, coming complete with a metal hot box.
  • Conventional Gas Fires – typically much more efficient than either decorative or inset real flame fires, they produce significantly more heat. Contained behind glass, these fires sit on the hearth or wall as opposed to being set in the fireplace.
  • Radiant Gas Fires – sit neatly on the hearth and provide excellent heat output and high efficiency.
