Cookery Demonstration in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care
|
Flogas recently supported Marie Curie Cancer Care through the sponsorship of a Cookery Demonstration held at Strule Arts Centre, Omagh. Marie Curie provides high quality, free nursing to give terminally ill people the choice of dying at home supported by their families. Last year, nurses provided 62,038 hours of nursing care to 983 patients in Northern Ireland. The evening was a huge success, raising £1738 in ticket sales alone. Local chef Hayden Gamble and his wife Clodagh from Vanilla Restaurant donated their time and took to the stage to produce 2 delicious three course meals.
