Conroy took up rugby relatively late, at the age of 18, after having dabbled in athletics and soccer. In 2017, Conroy made his debut for the Ireland National Rugby Sevens Team. He has played in numerous tournaments, including the World Rugby HSBC Sevens Series, the Rugby World Cup Sevens, and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Currently he’s preparing for the 2024 Paris Games with his team and taking part in the World Sevens Series across the globe.
Jordan is known for his exceptional pace and finishing ability, and he has become one of the most exciting young players in Irish rugby. Off the field, Conroy is known for his friendly and outgoing personality.

In 2022 he appeared in the fifth series of the Irish version of Dancing With the Stars, alongside Georgian ballroom and Latin dancer Salome Chachua. Conroy and Chachua reached the finals, finishing second place.

According to Conroy: “Returning to the Olympics is an honour and I couldn’t have made it here without the incredible support from my team, my family and my friends. As a Flogas ambassador, I’m genuinely thrilled to have their support behind me as part of the ‘Energy Behind the Athletes’ campaign. It’s heartening to see brands like Flogas stepping up to champion athletes like myself and shine a light on the extraordinary people who’ve been there since day one. The docuseries was a lot of fun. It’s a platform for people throughout my life to share their stories and the pivotal roles they’ve played in my journey. It’s humbling and inspiring to see their stories told.”

Ciara Mageean: Olympian, European Medallist, and Irish Record Holder

The Portaferry (Co. Down) woman is a three-time European 1500m medallist (2016, 2019 & 2022).
In 2023, Mageean placed a brilliant 4th at the World Championships in Budapest, producing the race of her life in one of the most competitive women’s 1500m global finals ever. In the process, Mageean improved her Irish 1500m record with a blistering time of 3.56.61. She further improved this with a stunning run at the Belgian Diamond League, recording a time of 3.55.87.

Throughout her career to date, Ciara has been widely regarded as one of Ireland’s most outstanding middle-distance runners. She is an inspiration to many, thanks to her dedication and perseverance in the sport. Ciara is known for her competitive spirit, tactical racing, and exceptional finishing ability.

In addition to her athletic pursuits, Ciara is a qualified physiotherapist, having studied at UCD. She is also passionate about camogie, which was her first love in sports. She always keeps a hurl and sliotar in her car, as she finds playing a game to be a great way to unwind.

Ciara credits her community, mentors and coaches who saw her potential saying, “I owe so much to the incredible people who’ve supported me every step of the way, from my wider community in Portaferry, to my family and friends. Their unwavering belief and sacrifices have been the driving force behind my journey to the world stage in athletics. As a Flogas ambassador, I couldn’t be prouder to be part of the ‘Energy Behind the Athletes’ campaign. It’s not just about me; it’s about shining a light on the amazing people behind the scenes that make our dreams as athletes possible. Brands have a real opportunity to make a difference by joining athletes on a path to success, and recognising the role a community plays in our lives.”
