Flogas brand ambassador Nicole Lynch is ‘revving’ into the 2019 season with a new bike and a host of Ireland and UK dates on her racing calendar. Nicole is pursuing her dream of becoming a professional motorbike racer and drives a Dacia Logan converted to Flogas Autogas to compete at race meetings. Nicole Lynch said, “Flogas has been a huge support to me and the use of the Flogas Autogas car has been a real boost as I can drive close to 30,000 km annually attending race days and track days all over Ireland. It’s fantastic to have a great set of wheels on-track and off!”

Nicole kicks off her season at the first round of the Dunlop Masters Championship on the 6th & 7th April in Mondello Park, Naas. It will be her first year competing in the very competitive Supersport Cup class racing a 600cc motorbike. She will also be racing in the Ulster Superbike championships as well at selected rounds of Thundersport GB and other competitions at Donington and Oulton Park.

Nicole recently completed a successful pre-season test at Jerez in southern Spain. “The test went very well, and we had the opportunity to try lots of different set ups with the bike. The Yamaha R6 is completely different than anything I’ve been on before and far more powerful. It’s a steep learning curve, but I’m relishing the challenge and can’t wait for the season ahead.”

Eoin O’Flynn, marketing manager, Flogas Ireland, said “Motorbike racing requires a great deal of hard work and personal and financial sacrifice. Nicole’s dedication in pursuing her dream to become a professional motorbike racer is to be commended and Flogas is delighted to be able to support her on her journey.”
