Flogas Natural Gas is delighted to celebrate its tenth anniversary with the luxury Knightsbrook Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort in Trim, Co. Meath. A natural gas supplier for the residential market since 2004, Flogas entered the commercial natural gas market in 2009 and the Knightsbrook was one of its first commercial customers. Flogas Natural Gas supplies the award-winning venue with natural gas for cooking, heating and hot water for the hotel’s main building and facilities like the swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna, its River Spa and self-catering holiday homes.

The Knightsbrook is a much sought-after venue for many business, family and personal celebrations. Recent accolades include the Leinster Venue of the Year Award at the 2018 Ireland’s Wedding Journal Reader Awards and the Best Resort in Leinster at the 2018 Golfer’s Guide to Ireland Awards.

Patrick Curran, general manager, said, “Knightsbrook Hotel is leading the way in becoming a low carbon hotel. The hotel has LED lighting in all areas and recently installed new Smart Building controls that will greatly reduce its annual carbon emissions and cost and further enhance the customer experience. The next stage in Knightsbrook Hotel’s low carbon journey is to introduce CHP and solar technology.”

Jennie Dockrell, customer operations director, Flogas Natural Gas, said, “Natural gas is an efficient, clean-burning fuel, the perfect choice for an energy-conscious and environmentally aware client like the Knightsbrook Hotel. It’s our pleasure to celebrate a decade of energy partnership with them.”
